This photo shows our specialty floor drying system in action. It is used to vacuum out air from the grout between the tiles so that the floor can be saved. Both the insurance adjuster and customer were very concerned about the tile floor because it continues from the bathroom into the hallway and kitchen. One of our technicians is unloading the van after cleaning a house in Saint John, Indiana. The customer had accidentally left her burner on low instead of turning it off when she ran next door to check on her neighbor. Her bacon continued to cook and left a greasy black soot on everything in her kitchen. Our technician was able to use SERVPRO chemicals, which are specially formulated to remove soot, to get her house back to preloss condition.
