Dealing With Damaged Contents

This customer was using his basement as a storage area when it flooded. Heavy rains overwhelmed his sump pump while he was out of town, so the water damage went undiscovered for over a week. When he returned from his trip he found mold on most of his belongings. He contacted us to assist in inventorying his personal property and disposing of it. The crews were able to photograph each item as it was carried out to the dumpster, which made it easy for the customer's insurance company to reimburse him. The after photo shows the same room once the contents were removed and drying equipment was set.
