Commercial Mold Remediation in Lowell, Indiana
1/3/2019 (Permalink)
A local Lowell Indiana business contacted SERVPRO of Benton, Jasper, Newton and Southern Lake Counties after discovering mold growing under their rubber mat flooring. During the initial inspection our Project Manager determined that at some point the floor drains had backed up, probably during a heavy rainstorm. The drain backup went undetected, which resulted in microbial growth.
To remove the mold our technicians lifted and cleaned each of the mats, as well as the concrete subfloor. Most of the building had two layers of mats, but some areas had as many as four layers. The technicians marked where the mats originated from so that they could be put back into place after cleaning. In the photo you can see a section during remediation where some of the mats have been removed and the subfloor is being cleaned.
