Water Damage in Saint John, Indiana

Sump pumps can struggle to keep up during heavy rain events. The basement of this Saint John home flooded when it rained for several days in a row and water was coming in faster than the pump could pump it out. In the photo, you can see the water traveling throughout the carpet. If you want to prevent this from happening in your home consider installing a secondary backup sump pump.

When it did he called SERVPRO of Benton, Jasper, Newton and Southern Lake Counties to do the water mitigation. The photo shows the tiles being detached and stacked so that the rubber pad can be torn out.

If he would have let the water sit, his floors would have been ruined and his business would have had significant downtime. Luckily, our team was able to quickly mitigate the waters, sanitize the affected areas, and get their business back up and running.
